Total Objects scales the 3 Peaks

Contact

Total Objects, the leading software solutions provider to the London and global insurance markets, has completed the annual COINS 3 Peaks Challenge to benefit the COINS Foundation and, in doing so, has raised in excess of ?11,000 for charitable projects in the UK and Africa.

The challenge involved climbing three of the UK's largest Peaks - Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in the Lake District and Snowdon in Wales.

The Total Objects team - nicknamed the 'iTeam' - was sponsored by key clients from across the market including Bell & Clements, Thistle Insurance, Besso, Cogent, GCube, Antares, Colemont, Ashgates and Leasemaster.  The team logo, a walking iPad, was designed to illustrate the successful union of people and technology which defines Total Objects' approach to the projects the company undertakes in the insurance and reinsurance industries.

Colville Wood, Managing Director at Total Objects, said:

"The iTeam did a sterling job in the 3 Peaks Challenge. This is the 5th time we have competed in the COINS 3 Peaks Challenge since it started 9 years ago and there are massive benefits for us in terms of team building and finding out what you are capable of doing under pressure!  However, the real beneficiaries of the Challenge are the people in Kwama, Zambia who the COINS Foundation is supporting by building new schools and a new deepwater well for fresh water - all designed to support sustainable communities."

"We'd like to extend a sincere thank you to all of those who sponsored us - 100% of the money goes to COINS Foundation projects and every penny will make a difference."
