To provide a genuine end-to-end solution, the GLOBAL MGA Product Suite has to cope with many challenges. Security has been a key consideration in the design along with performance and scalability. To meet these challenges Total Objects have taken a strategic approach to the technology deployed in its development.
Web Architecture
GLOBAL XII, the web insurance engine, has been developed according to a three-tier architecture: An experience layer, a business process layer and a data layer. This provides the ultimate in flexibility to implement your design, your experiences and your business model.
Components – Service Orientated Architecture (SOA)
Developing the MGA Suite through components delivers significant benefits in ongoing flexibility and removes the danger of ‘instant legacy’ inherent in so many systems, by facilitating updating, upgrading and even replacement of components. It also means that we can respond to specific client requirements, for example, where they have Meridio as their chosen Document Management System rather than SharePoint.
Data Warehouses, Data Marts and Analysis
Absolutely central to the design of the GLOBAL MGA Product Suite has been use of the GLOBAL XBi data warehousing component. As a repository of risk, product, customer and claims data, it provides an incredibly powerful tool for the analysis of data. Along with traditional management reporting, the solution is design to utilise data from the data warehouse live, through dashboards and even in the sales process itself.
Messaging
As a major provider to the Lloyds Market, Total Objects is committed to the electronic messaging initiatives. These are provided through GLOBAL XMP, with benefits in both speed, cost and quality.
