Total Objects appoints Colville Wood as Managing Director

Total Objects, the leading software solutions provider to the London and global insurance markets, has today announced the appointment of Colville Wood as Managing Director.  Colville will now have responsibility for Total Objects’ global operations. Jim Barry is moving to the position of Group Business Development Director and will focus on continuing to grow the business through sales and acquisitions. 
 
Colville brings 15 years experience delivering complex software solutions in the financial services industry, most notably as Chief Architect for CSC and Cognizant. His client experience includes working with AXA as Chief Architect and Catlin as Enterprise Architect.  He has provided leadership and designed key system architectures for on-line offerings at Hiscox and wrap platform products at Winterthur UK.  Colville has an extensive, in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry making him a valuable addition for Total Objects.

Total Objects also announces the acquisition of Coublis (subject to shareholder approval), a company founded by Colville. Coublis provides ClaimsDesk, a ‘Software as a Service’ (SaaS) platform offering lifecycle fulfilment processing and management for claims. This can be delivered on a cost-per-claim basis and presents Total Objects with their first full Cloud Computing offering.
